
TW Peacocke has been making movies since he was a kid.
His directing credits include the award-winning mini-series, Canada Russia ‘72, and over two hundred episodes of television on more than forty different series, including Surrealestate, Schitt’s Creek, Haven, The Good Witch, and Heartland. He has also been Executive Producer or a Creative Consultant on multiple series and television movies in myriad genres, including drama, comedy, action, horror, sci-fi, youth, and documentary.
He has been honoured with a Canadian Screen Award, a Directors Guild Award, two Canadian Comedy Awards, and nine other Best Directior nominations.
TW studied painting at the Banff Centre, and French literature at L’Université de Caen in France. He attended the MFA Graduate Film Program at New York University after earning a degree in history from Yale University, where he also played junior varsity hockey.
He served as Director Rep and Vice Chair of the Ontario Executive Board of the Directors Guild of Canada for nine years and is a member of the Writers Guild of Canada. He has mentored, instucted and led directing seminars at the Canadian Film Centre, the CSTC and Niagara College.
TW is a citizen of Canada and the United States and speaks English and French.
